Denouement
Mr. White says denouement is the falling action, the conclusion of a plot, the resolution.
The falling action of Frankenstein would be after Victor's fiance is killed as well as his father (due to shock, not the monster) and he spends the rest of the book looking for revenge. Then later on he's found in the arctic by Robert and he retells his story before dying.
It's no longer as tense as before and the reader can tell that Victor has lost everything, and now is just his final attempt at having meaning.
